The story of "Eggs & Dogs" started with the recordings of keyboardplayer Tomas Bodins new solo record. Tomas teamed up with old time friends Marcus Liliequist (drums) from "The Flower Kings" and his good ole friend JJ Marsh (guitar) from Glenn Huges band, two musicians he previously worked with on other solo projects, still he didn..t have a bassplayer and a lead singer for this project. Then Tomas decided to call Michael Stolt who played bass in "Flower Kings" back in the 90..s who..s also a singer and they decided that Michael should at least play bass on some tracks of the record. After only a few days in the studio they all realised that this was more than just some musicians playing on another record. "Eggs & Dogs" music influenses goes from early Genesis to, Pink Floyd, 10CC, Queen, Muse and a whole lot of Beatles. The songs on the debute "You are" tells a story from the first song to the last and the lyrics are very important for the band. No doubt, "The Eggs" will be around for many years...
